At La Salle School, we believe in nurturing not just the minds of our learners, but also their hearts. As part of our commitment to instilling values of compassion and community service, we have organized a charity event to support needy families in Shauri Yako. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 19th October 2024.
The County Partnerships and External Relations Directorate together with the County Education Office have expressed interest in partnering with us for this noble cause. They have graciously offered to provide additional services such as a Free Medical Camp for the identified families on the day of the event.
We encourage all our parents and other interested partners to extend a helping hand to the less privileged in our society. To achieve this, we kindly request donations of the following items:
- Dry foodstuffs (e.g., Cereals, Sugar, Rice, Wheat/Maize flour)
- Clothes, Soap, Tissue papers
- Sanitary towels
- Stationary and any other essential items.
The donation campaign will run from 13th September 2024 to 16th October 2024. Donations can be dropped off at the school office during this period.
On the day of the event, we invite all parents and friends to join us in distributing the collected items and supporting the community.
We are confident that with your support, this initiative will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. Together, let us teach our children the importance of kindness and community service.
